It’s the small things that keep me going.

This scarf was a small project that was fun, quick, and easy to make after a very busy September with more than one big project on my hook and my calendar. It was made with one skein of Unforgettable, a medium weight yarn by Red Heart in Stained Glass and a J (6mm) Clover hook…

Unicorns and Rainbows

Our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter loves unicorns, especially those displaying a rainbow of colors. According to the article, Unicorn Symbolism & Meaning (+Totem, Spirit, & Omens) by Garth C. Miss Sharon’s Craft Cupboard

I learned how to crochet 40 years ago and would crochet occasionally for fun and stress-relief over the years. Five years ago, I started crocheting on a regular basis for charity. After retiring from nursing in 2019, I wanted to share my love for crochet, crafting, and cooking! I became a Certified Crochet Instructor through the Craft Yarn Council and I am a member of the Crochet Guild of America. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our two grown daughters, their husbands, and our granddaughter.
